Native American Wisdom Seminar

08. – 17. July 2016 in Leichlingen, Germany

Embrace Your Shadow

with Grandmother Robin Youngblood und Eva Alewa Geueke

Together, we will explore our Shadows . . . the aspects of ourselves we consider to be ‘negative’. We will work through shamanic journeys, the Medicine Wheel, Sound/Movement and Constellations to see how our Shadows have been our early warning systems, the defense mechanisms that have helped us survive the traumas in our lives, and the lives of our ancestors. We will embrace our Shadows, shining the Light of our Love into them to heal ourselves and learn to value our life experiences. This is deep work, multigenerational, healing ourselves, our families, our work relationships and the seven generations behind us and yet to come. Please join us to do this exciting work! (See Shadow Medicine Wheel on next page)

The science of epigenetics has recently confirmed what indigenous peoples have always known ~ the traumas experienced by our ancestors have left markers in our DNA that program us to respond in particular ways to events in our daily lives. Have you ever wondered, “Why did I say/do that?” in response to a situation….until we uncover the reasons behind our reactions, we act from our programming. Indigenous people have understood this for centuries. We have ceremonies to address multigenerational responses and allow ourselves to heal and re-program ourselves in conscious awareness.

Join us this weekend to activate new neuro-pathways to conscious action.

Robin Tekwelus Youngblood, Okanagon/Tsalagi,

Robin Youngbloodis a weaver of many worlds ~ a bridge between indigenous and modern cultures; between the past and the future. Robin is a shamanic practitioner, international teacher, author and artist, as well as a recognized healer. She has been a student of her heritage for many years, learning the sacred shamanic teachings of Indigenous elders from her own Native American tribes, along with Siberian, Polynesian and Aboriginal Wisdom Keepers.

Says Robin: "I believe that the only way to co-create harmony and build strong, healthy communities in these times, is to re-educate ourselves in the natural rhythms of our Earth Mother through ritual and ceremony. We are all connected through the Web of Creation, and we must all weave a new world together. It is my hope to share what I have been taught in ways that will help each of us to remember our innate connection to each other, Mother Earth, and All That Is."

SailingToday, Robin travels the world as an Ambassador/Guide to assist community co-creation, utilizing both indigenous foundational principles and evolutionary process to envision and manifest a healthier, sustainable and more balanced world. In the traditions of her elders, Robin offers Shamanic teachings, Vision Quest, Sweat Lodge ceremonies, weddings and many other rituals.

Robin and Cambodian KidsRobin is a licensed minister of Church of the Earth; a Guide for Barbara Marx Hubbard's Agents of Conscious Evolution; a member of the Grandmothers Circle the Earth Foundation, the Crown of the Mothers of the Waters Council, and a member of the World Wisdom Council.  She is enrolled in the Bear Clan Metis, is adopted into the Lakota, Ojibway, Cree and Calusa Seminole nations, and was initiated in 2012 by Chief Fleming Otey, as a Sub-Chief of the Native American Indian Eastern Council of the Yadkin River Valley in Salisbury, N. Carolina. Recently, Robin was knighted in the Order of St. John of Jerusalem/Hospitallers, for her healing and philanthropic work around the world.

Eva Alewa Geueke, Kimimila Zhi, is of German ancestry. As a child and young adult she felt awkward praying in churches and felt God was closer in nature. When she attended her first sweat lodge in upstate New York in the mid-eighties, she knew she had come home. Sitting on the earth and praying in the steam, she immediately recognized it as something she always knew but could not find in the culture she grew up with. From the first sweat lodge she attended, which was a healing lodge for the ailing guru of Ananda Ashram, she was asked to tend fire, which is unusual for women to do. It became a way of life for her. Her teacher and mentor Ellsworth Chytka, Nakota (White Swan community in South Dakota) taught her that the biggest ceremony one can do is to love oneself. Going out to South Dakota numerous times to visit Ells and his family she found true peace in her heart and received many teachings. Eva is a pipe carrier and Sun dancer in the Dakota tradition. She is a prayer warrior and firmly believes in the power of prayer. She also received many teachings with her Hawaiian sister Sage Jetsuma Peros in Maui, as it was her sweat lodge that and made her move to the Hawaiian islands. That is where she met Robin Youngblood. Eva tended Robin's fire numerous times and they performed many ceremonies together. Her Hawaiian Hula teacher Kumu Malia Helela gave her the name Alewa.
